As you know it is mandatory to set the ExportOnlyData property to true when using ExcelML format. Thanks to that GridCheckBoxColumn is exported as TRUE/FALSE in Excel spreadsheet. How can we have that column exported as checkbox as in old HTML-Based Excel Format?

Hello David,
With ExcelML format it is not possible to have CheckBox elements in the exported file. For detailed information on ExcelML format, what are its limitations and how you can customize the output, please take a look at the following help article:
As you will see, it is possible to change the FormatType of different columns or particular cells, but there is no option for checkboxes.
