Hey,
I'm using your readmenu control and I'm using vista skin, but I want to change the back color of the menu and keep the glassy effect of vista skin how can I do that?
I've tried this property, but it didn't work !

Hi Shaza,

The background that is applied to the RadMenu, so that we can achieve the glassy effect, is in fact a sprite image, so if you need to alter it, you will need to change the whole sprite image. Another approach that I can suggest you could use is our Visual Style Builder and create your own customized skin. However, using the last approach you can alter the color and you will lose the sprite image and the glassy effect.

All the best,

Hello Shaza,

With the default installation of the Telerik controls you can find the current sprite images of the RadMenu here: :\Program Files \Telerik\RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX Qx 20xx\Skins\<name of the skin>\Menu
Then you can take the rmSprite.png image and change it according to your requirements. Later you will simply need to replace it in the Menu folder and use the skin with the altered image sprite.

Please take a look at the following forum posts as well for more information related to the sprites:
