How do you use a RadCalendar to select the day for a Scheduler on a different page?

What's the best way to have a RadCalendar on one page (Page 1) to send the selected day to a RadScheduler on a different page (Page 2)?
Currently I'm just using a query string but I'm thinking there is a better method.

Hi briankb,
Other possible approach is to use Session or Context.Items.
All the best,

Hello Brian,
I am trying to do the same thing. Use a querystring that once a date is selected, it will pass that querystring.
Can you kindly let me know you handled this.
Thank you.
Nate
