what might be some of the area's to look for - the grid groups perfect - love it, i have by default the groups collapsed - when i try to expand them - it takes a good 10-12 seconds before the grid collapses or expands.
what might i being doing wrong.
the grid is bound to a sqldatasource that calls a storedprocedure - the sql datasource mode is dataset
locally it works like the cats meow - but on the server it is sluggish - i've moved the grid inside a radajax panel, a regular ajax update panel and out of one altogether - still seems slow as if it's making a connection to the db each time.

groupload mode was set to server and - i switched it to client... much better.
