Grid loses data on sort and filter

Hello,
I have a few fields and a button. When the end user clicks the button I query the database and fill the grid.
However if I use of the sort or filter features I lose all the date in the gird.

does any one have an tips they recommend here?

I believe you need to use the Advanced Data Binding technique. Give it a try and let me know of any issues,
