When I have column reordering enabled, the columnsreordermethod="reorder", and reordercolumnsonclient="false" after the postback the grid footer is visible.
i can workaround it by adding a style .GridFooter_Default { display: none } to the page but i thought it worth mentioning.

Hello Adam,
We fixed this problem and the fix will be included in our second service pack however you can request latest Telerik.Web.UI build via support ticket.

I am having a similar issue with a RadComboBox that filters the RadGrid Control causing the footer and pager to appear. I am using the RadAjaxManager to handle the postbacks.
It also happens on your Demo: Grid Filtered by Combo
You will see the footer appear after you make your combo selection.

As already stated earlier in this thread the problem is already addressed. The bug fix is included in the upcoming Service Pack 2 of RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX Q1 2008 which is currently passing our final QA tests. It will be most probably available for download later today.
