Hi guys,

I am using RadGrid in RadControls for ASPNET AJAX Q2 2008. How do I get a count of all selected rows in the child grids on the clientside (JavaScript). Please note that I am using Q2 2008 RadGrid. The examples I have seen on this site and elsewhere work for newer versions of the RadGrid but they don't work on the Q2 2008 version. Kindly assist. See attachment for the sample of what my grid looks like.

Thanks,
Peterson

Hi Peterson,

Please note that the Telerik controls kit is improved in every release, being fortified with new features, faster performance, new controls, easier configuration, more user-friendly and attractive interface, etc. Essentially, our duty is to deliver and provide constantly improving products, which enable the developers using them to provide a better project for their customers, enriched with wide range of functionality and features. In this sense, I strongly suggest that you update to the latest release version of the controls even if your current project does not require you to.

And in case you are not able to do that, please elaborate on your specific scenario and we will try to suggest a viable solution for your requirement. Generally, you can use jQuery to achieve it:

Hi Eyup,
Thanks for your response. Unfortunately, due to company constraints, I am not in a position to upgrade the toolkit we are using. I will have a look at the jQuery selector and see if it can help.

Thanks for pointing me in that direction.

Peterson
