Hi,
I have a Radgrid with 2 columns freeze and I have enabled the resize columns, Am dynamically populating the grid, The problem is When the columns are more By deafult horizontal scrollbar appears and freezing works fine,But when we have less columns then columns get fixed accordingly and horizontal scrollbar doesnot appear which is correct..However for that less columns when we resize columns horizontal scrollbar appears then freezing doesnot work.
Ultimately Freezing works fine when the horizonatl scrollbar appear by default but doesnot work when we resize columns and horizontal scrollbar appear.
So is there any workaround for this?

Hi,
I tried to replicate the behavior you describe, however, I was not able to. I am attaching a sample project I used for testing. The frozen columns feature is working as expected when a column in the Grid is resized.
Give the sample a try and see how it works for you. Let me know what should be different in order to replicate the behavior you are seeing.

The sample project you gave is working as expected, but I implemented the same properties and still not working. Am generating the radgrid dynamically and its width is calculated based on the column names and each column width also calculated on column names but still am not able to solve the problem.

Hello,
Would you modify the sample from my previous post in a way that the behavior you are seeing is replicated and send it back? Thus, we will be able to examine the behavior and look for its cause.
You can open a support ticket and attach the modified sample there.

I tried doing that in the sample project you gave, but am not able to recreate the issue. Is there any other property will affect this.

Is there any workaround to do with the old dll's

Hi,
There were a lot of fixes and improvements introduced in the controls since 2014. Thus, extracting only part of the code targeting that specific scenario would be hard to do.
In order to ensure that the columns are resized as expected and there are no glitches I would recommend using the latest version of the controls.
