Hi,

I am dynamically building raddock zones and rad dock objects with client commands on the dock object.

I have recently upgraded to FireFox 3 and the rad dock OnClientCommands no longer work, I just get syntax errors, or upon modifying the javascript of my client commands - the first client command runs on page load without anything being clicked then I get loads of JS errors!

Can anybody help with this? I have multipule client sites running with this code and I'm pulling my hair out.

Thanks!

Hi Jacques,

Do you reproduce the problem testing our online examples in Firefox 3? You can test whether you will reproduce the problem with the Commands online example in which the OnClientCommand event is used. We tested the described scenario with dynamically created dock in Firefox 3 as well and were not to reproduce the problem you mention.
In case you are not able to reproduce the problem with our online example, please, open a support ticket and send us a simple test page which demonstrates the issue so that we can test it on our side and investigate the problem. Otherwise, if you reproduce the same problem on our online demos, the problem is most probably due to some FF configuration settings. You can check in the Firefox browser
Tools->Options->Content tab whether scripting is enabled.
Please, let us know how it goes.

All the best,

Hello Jacques,

We are not aware of such a problem with RadDock "Prometheus" v 2007.2.1010.0. Please, send us a simple running project which reproduces it so that we can test the described behavior on our side. Do you reproduce the same issue with the latest version of RadDock for ASP.NET from Q2 2008? I would like to also ask you send us a list of steps to reproduce the problem as well as what is the version of the control with which you test and the exact version of the Firefox browser you use.

Kind regards,
Sophy
