Hello,
By design RadFileExplorer can work only with files and folders from virtual folders placed inside the application root directory. In order to configure the control to work with physical paths you need to implement custom content provider. Such provider is available in the following KB article:
Use RadFileExplorer with physical and shared folder's paths
