Export to excel not showing datetime cells correctly

Hi, we currently use the ExporttoExcel method to store our grid data into an excel spreadsheet. A problem has arisen in the latest rad controls which results in (SOME) of our datetime cells being formatted differently to the others, they are all stored in exactly the same format in the database but yet when they are exported to excel they appear in this way

                                        05/05/2008 10:23
                                        05/02/2008 15:39
4/30/2008 1:58:05 PM
4/30/2008 1:51:39 PM
4/30/2008 1:30:42 PM

not only is the datetime format different, the cells are aligned different too.
