I have taken a look at the example code for the Excel type grid and its kind of what I need. http://www.telerik.com/community/code-library/submission/b311D-babbkh.aspx However there is only textboxes in the example.
Does anyone have a code snippet that I could take a look at that shows a dropdown list and binds it with some data?
2nd question how do I loop through the created fields and retrieve the values?

Hi Shane,
The control relies on a bulk update to fetch all the data from the edit form. The same approach is applicable if you have controls other than standard textboxes in the edit forms.
