We have been encountering a rendering problem on the scheduler controls via ipad's safari browser. its look like javascript issue.

Do you reproduce this problem with the online demos? We tested them with the environment that you have specified, but we didn't observe any issues - http://screencast.com/t/HsnSzv1GU.
