I have looking everywhere for a simple step by step method for enabling basic grouping in a grid either design or code. This link (http://www.telerik.com/help/aspnet-ajax/grid-design-grouping.html) shows fields for selection, I do not see the fields for selection. I have attached a screen print of what I can see. Thanks in advance.

Hello ,
In order to create a group you have to click the plus ('+') sign next to the GroupByExpresssion. It will display a GroupBy item with two child items GroupByExpression and SelectFields. You can examine the following help article which elaborates more on GridGroupByExpression object.
