In another thread (http://www.telerik.com/community/forums/thread/b311D-hhmmg.aspx) there was a response from telerik stating that there would be a way to specify an alternate resource file location (other than the App_GlobalResources folder). This post was on 6/16.

The latest release of RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX was released on 6/19. Did this make it into the release? I need to find a way to share the localization files across multiple websites without using a custom Resource Provider.

Hi Scott,

The requested feature is not easy to be implemented and we do not have enough time to provide it in this version of RadEditor.

Nevertheless, our most important task for Q3 2008 will be to fix all outstanding issues for RadEditor. This will include the requested feature for moving and sharing the localization folder. We will also try to provide the ability to localize the editor via XML files similarly to the Classic version of RadEditor.

Kind regards,
Rumen
