Hi,

Is there a way the RadGrid can be used to drag and drop rows to reorder them? At the moment I use the Reorderlist control in the AJAXControlToolkit but I would prefer to be able to do this with a gridview so my users don't have to go to another page to reorder their records.

Thanks,
Curt.

I'm looking for something similar to whats mentioned here:

http://www.telerik.com/community/code-library/submission/b311D-gamka.aspx

However i need it in VB and that when the rows are reordered, the new order is stored in the database. At the moment I order my records using a 'Layout' integer field.

Hello Curt,

I'm happy to inform you that in this year's Q1 release the RadGrid Prometheus will include a build-in item drag and drop functionality, giving you both client-side and server-side events to precisely handle the behavior.

Ok, thats great.

I have a full license for the "Prometheus" RadControls so do I get Q1 for no additional cost?
