[Solved] Download and install

I downloaded the help file (RadControls_Prometheus_Manual_2007.3.1425.chm) and the RadControls_Prometheus_2007_3_1425_trial.

Do I need to run an install package or anything?

Hi Brian,

I checked your account and noticed that you have downloaded the ZIP archive of RadControls Prometheus. PLease have in mind that the ZIP is used to install RadControls manually, mainly for upgrading or updating purposes.  The folder structure is different from the EXE installation. You should be familiar with ASP.NET, IIS, setting permissions and creating virtual folders. Automatic installation (EXE) is generally recommended for first time installs.

Commonly, the ZIP is installed directly in inetpub/wwwroot. For detailed instruction please take a look at the control's documentation under the following sections:

• Installing RadControls from EXE file
• Installing RadControls from ZIP file
