I'm trying to prototype quickly that I can build a CMS system using your Dock control. It is very impressive. Essentially I'm trying to mimic the SiteFinity design as much as possible. I do not want the 'widgets' to be draggable at runtime to outsiders so the dock controls are not in the actual public web pages. I've bouced back and forth between designing my pages using css and tables. I currently have a admin edit module that will load my master page, parse it, and inject your dock controls so that an admin can edit the layout of the page. Regardless of whether the underlying design is css or tables, the dockzones never appear exactly where they should.. They're either slight offset and expand outside their div's or table cells or sometimes even overlap themselves. Thinking it was something in my module, I made a new project with various layouts just to test that I could layout a page exactly the way I wanted too, then replace the various areas with DockZones and see if the dockzones would just contain themselves too and look nicely in those areas. Still doesn't work. They show up mostly in the right place, but not perfect.

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us.

We are not able to understand the exact problem you experience from the provided description of the issue. What do you mean under "dockzones never appear exactly where they should"? Where the RadDockZones should be located? We need more details about your setup in order to help you. Could you please open a support ticket and send us a sample page which demonstrates your scenario and reproduces the problem? Please, also send us some screenshots which show what is the behavior you observe and the one you expect. Having a better idea of your setup and the issue you experience we will do our best to help you. For your convenience I have attached a screenshot with instructions how to open a support ticket.

Sincerely yours,

I'm evaluating your trial version and it won't let me submit a support ticket. Essentially I layout out a page, typical header with 2 or 3 cols, and a footer using either CSS or Tables. Page works and looks nice. Then I just edit the page so that all the areas are DockZones. For the most part, the page is fine, but now one or both scrollbars appear, and the dockzones are not perfectly fit to their areas.  I created a sample app with 4 pages with both css and tables layouts to demonstrate the issue. Is there somewhere I can email  it?

Hello,

Even though you are evaluating a trial version of the RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX suite you can submit support tickets for a limited period of time. Please, take a closer look at the attached screenshot in the previous post. You should open your account, choose My Support Tickets from the left menu and expand the RadControls for ASP.NET Ajax link. You will see the RadDock for ASP.NET AJAX control and should click on the New Support Ticket button in order to submit a support ticket. You can enclose to the support ticket the test example you have prepared to demonstrate the behavior you observe so that we can test it on our side and get a better idea of the problem you experience.

Best regards,

Thanks but my screen doesn't show that. I created this account awhile ago but only last week started experimenting with your trial controls to see if I could make this work. Is there a way for you to reset that?
