Displaying XML inside grid

I am unable to see XML in the grid as it is stored in the database.  It shows a long string of characters which I am unable to interperet.  I was wondering if there is any way of displaying the xml inside the grid.

I was able to fix this by setting HtmlEncode to true on the GridBoundColumn.  Thanks.
