Hi, is it possible to display resources as images in both the appointment form and the day/week/month views?
Example, in the appointment form, there will be dropdownlist displaying images of different cars. And in the day/week/month views the car's images will be displayed. - not just text.

Thanks,
Henry Wu

Hello Henry,

This is possible and can be achieved by using the templates (AppointmentTemplate and AdvancedEdit/Insert templates). We have an online example which demonstrates a similar scenario.

Hi Albert,
Thanks for the quick reply, I appreciate it. I see what you mean with the link you have provided. Basically, using templates we could essentially customized the appointment form. However, just to sure, I would like to clarify the following example: http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/scheduler/examples/resourcegrouping/defaultcs.aspx

In the example above, the resource there has a header section with text "Margaret Morrison Main Room" and "Black Auditorium"
a) is it possible to use templates or certain events to display pictures or images of the rooms instead of the literal text?

Double click the "History 201", the appointment form will appear with a drop-down listbox of the "Room"
b) is it possible to display a drop-down listbox of a list of images - via Telerik Combobox, using appointment templates

From what I gathered, b) is already answered by the sample link you've given, but for a) , this I'm not 100% sure.
Hope you can help clarify.

Many Thanks,
Henry Wu

Hi Henry,

It is possible to customize the resource headers by using the ResourceHeaderTemplate and the ResoureceHeaderCreated event. Unfortunately we don't have an online demo which shows how to do this. Let us know should you need more specific instructions.

Sincerely yours,
Albert
