Using RadAjax Calendar with tooltips as demonstrated in http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet/prometheus/ToolTip/Examples/ToolTipZoneID/DefaultCS.aspx

In that example, the tooltip shows for both appointment items and the DatePicker.

Is there a way to stop the tooltip from displaying whenever a date is being selected via the datepicker?

Thank you.

Hello Richard,

The example you refer to is focused on showing people how the ToolTipZoneID is used, rather than claiming it is a real life scenario involving RadToolTip and RadScheduler.

There exists another example which should be considered as "the true" example featuring exactly the behavior you are looking for - e.g. tooltipifying only certain items in the RadScheduler. Here it is:
http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet/prometheus/Scheduler/Examples/RadToolTip/DefaultCS.aspx
