Hi,
We experience the following issue. We have RadEditor 5.7.1.
Steps to reproduce the error:
1. Open a Sharepoint publishing page in editmode
2. Scroll to the bottom of the text in the texteditor (make sure you have som text there from the start)
3. Place the cursor somewhere in the text (near the bottom)
4. The cursor now jumps to the top of the texteditor.

Hello Thomas,
Thank you for the provided information. I was able to reproduce the issue. Indeed when I clicked in the bottom of the text the cursor moved to the begging, however when i start to type the new text appeared in the correct place in the end.
I logged this problem in our bug-tracking system. However I can not provide you with an exact estimation of when it will be fixed. You can follow the PITS Issue by its ID: 2092.
Best wishes,

Hi,
I am having the same issue with the cursor jumping back to the top of the editor window, making it extremely difficult to edit content.
Can you please state whether a fix has been found for this yet?

Hello Andrew,
Unfortunately at this point there is no fix for the issue and our developers are not providing me with an exact estimation of when such will be implemented.

Hi Stanimir,
Do you know if this issue has been resolved? We are running version 5.8.0 and are also having the issue. In addition to the cursor jumps which frustrate users, extra line breaks are also often generated, particularly on pages where there is a lot of content. I believe these 2 issues are related, as it seems to only happen to those users experiencing the cursor jumping.
Thanks,
Claudz

Hello claudz,
I tested the problem with the latest version of RadEditor for MOSS (5.8.9) and it is still occurring. I will rise the priority of the bug in our bug-tracking system, but unfortunately I can not provide you with exact estimation of when it will be fixed.

Thanks Stanimir,
I don't know if this will be of assistance, but it seems that the issue occurs in IE7 and IE8 with Compatibility Mode turned on.
When turning Compatibility Mode off for IE8, the issue seems to disappear.
At the moment, we need Compatibility Mode activated on the PC's, so it is still an issue, but it's just something that I noticed.
Hope that helps,
Thanks,
Claudz
