I am using several RadGrids in my application, and the input controls are a mix of RadInput and RadComboBoxes.  I just on Friday installed the latest release of the controls, upgrading from the early-May release, and suddenly all my controls disappear in my grid edit popups!  They are still working outside grids, but my edit popups now just display control labels and the submit buttons and nothing else.

HELP!!  I have to be finished with this project in two weeks and I do not have time to re-do all these controls!!

Hello Amanda,

I tried to reproduce such behavior unfortunately to no avail - can you send us a bit more info or example how to reproduce this?

Turns out it was the FormDecorator - I had one of those in my popup to skin just the Save and Cancel buttons, and it was making all my other controls disappear.  I removed the FormDecorator and it's happy again.  Of course, the buttons are ugly, but at least it works.

Hello Amanda,

I believe that the following forum thread will be of help: Reported Q1 SP2 (build 2008.1.619) problems and their solutions. There we have listed all known and reported problems with the latest version and how to fix them. The fixed version will be available witht the "Futures" release of RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX next week.

You can also check the following demo that shows how to use RadFormDecorator along with RadGrid and RadTabStrip:

http://www.telerik.com/demos/aspnet/prometheus/FormDecorator/Examples/FormDecoratorGridTabstrip/DefaultCS.aspx

I hope this helps.

Sincerely yours,
