Hi there,
For some reason when I add say a calendar control into the contenttemplate section within a RadDock control, the ending tag </contenttemplate> disappears...
No big drama, but just wondered if this is a known issue, or is there something I am doing wrong?

Hello David,
This is a known issue with RadDock Prometheus, we have logged in our TODO list but at this time it has not been addressed yet.

Is this bug fixed yet? I'm using the latest ajax version, and my </contenttemplate> tag keeps disappearing when I switch from Design to Source view in Visual Studio.

I'm seeing the same thing - when almost anything changes the markup on a form the </ContentTemplate> tag for one or all RadDocks disappear. This is really annoying and surprising since it was reported so many months ago.

Hi guys,
Thank you for your feedback. We highly appreciate it.
The issue concerning the ContentTemplate tag disappearing when switching form design to source view is still not addressed as we worked on tasks with higher priority. We will do our best to fix it for one of the next updates of the control.
Please, accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience.

Sophy, I sincerely appreciate your cordial response and Telerik dilligence to all matters. Please consider the priority of an issue that remove tags from a document every time we modify it. This is a minor inconvenience until you've had to do it about 20 times and you realize you will need to do it about 100 more... Since each incident is different we can't automate the fix without considerable effort that should be spent in application development. Thanks as always.

Well it's February 2009 and I'm trying to add controls to the controltemplate and they disappear when switching between design and source code. I take it that this issue has not been addressed yet?
This is causing me serious trouble attempting to use RadDock. Think I'll look for a more reliable supplier of Ajax controls.
PATHETIC!!!

Hello Christopher,
We regret your decision to use another vendor but I would like to use this opportunity to provide some more information about the problem itself and to explain why it still exists.
The reasons for the problem to occur is in both VS design-time support and the logic of RadDock. While we can change the logic of the control on our side, we cannot modify the way VS. This makes this task very hard to accomplish and for the time being we haven't find a solution. In addition, since we prioritize our tasks based on customer's feedback, this problem has lower priority than others that are crucial for the proper operation in the control in run-time. That is why we referenced the problem in a note in RadDock for ASP.NET AJAX help in the Getting Started help article.
Of course once we have an appropriate solution for this problem, we will provide a fix right away. For the time being however, it is better to add the controls directly in the VS source view.
