In the editor demo, clear the content. Use either
or
for new lines. Use the link tool to create a simple link. Move the cursor to the end of the link and press 'enter' a couple of times to create new lines. Switch to html view and you will see the link repeated several times, with ' ' in place of the display text.

You can also see this with the sample content - place the cursor at the end of the 'tons of features' link and press 'enter'. Again, you will see the link repeated.

No problem when using
for new lines.

Hi Dan,

The described issue is due to a problem related in Chrome browser - Anchor element is duplicated when list item is an hyperlink and new list item is created under Chrome and Firefox.

I suggest following the provided feedback portal item to track the updates on the task.

For the time being a possible workaround is using the NewLineMode="Br" property.

ok - thanx. Is this something you will be able to work around in a future version? If so, any timeline? (I probably can't change my new line mode without irritating a lot of people...)

Just to be clear, the feedback portal refers to a 'list item' - my problem occurs just when adding new lines, not necessarily in a 'list'

Hi Dan,

You can also follow this feedback portal item as it is more related to the problem described. The one with the lists is related to the same functionality triggered on new line creation. Therefore the two issues are related.

I am sorry to disappoint you, but there is no firm, official estimation for the resolution of this bug. I suggest voting with the like button to raise its popularity i.e., gain higher importance in the to-do list of the dev team.

Internally, I raised the priority of the task due to your report.
