Just wondering if it is at all possible to edit the Style of the Drag Preview Line Style for the RadTreeView, we would like this to either be thicker or change the colour of it to contrast the control to make it a bit more pronounced...
alternatively we would like to be able to use the Drag Tool Tip, however currently is saying
"Drop After OURMODELVIEWNAME"
is it possible to either JUST display "Drop After" / "Drop Before"
OR is it possible to customize the where OURMODELVIEWNAME to display something like the item number
"Drop After 1.3" (our items have a property called activity number which is two numbers, so binding to this property would be fantastic!)

In order to modify the skin selector you could take a look at the following help article http://www.telerik.com/help/aspnet-ajax/tree_appearancecssselectors.html
As long as your second question is concerened we do not support a Drag Tool Tip for the TreeView control.
