In the latest Futures version of RadEditor we provided a new ToolsWidth property which could be used in your scenario. You can see the following example for more information: Displaying RadEditor as a TextBox.
The Q2 2008 release of RadEditor, due in tomorrow, will feature the ToolsWidth property as well.
