Hello,
We are probably going to purchase RadEditor for use with our MOSS 2007 environment, but the decision would be made a lot easier if I had some idea of how difficult it would be for us to migrate all of our existing CEWPs to RadEditor web parts. I see here that this is a process that is typically done manually, but I am wondering if anyone has written a feature that does this automatically?
I have a general sense of how this should be done but haven't tried it yet. If I can get it to work I will share this with the community... to simplify, would it make sense to wrap a SPJob in a feature which: traverses all SPSites in a target SPFarm, find all pages that contain CEWPs, check the pages out for editing, scrape all content from the CEWP, create a new RadEditor web part, and copy the content, delete the old CEWP, and check the page back in?
Thanks,
Bill
