Buttons rotator type border

I have a rotator I wish to use in ButtonsOver mode, but this mode seems to set a border around the control. Is there a way to set this border to none? I've tried setting the control border to none, but the border created in ButtonsOver seems to be coming from another part of the control, its dimensions are different than the rotator borders.

I believe that fixing any aspect of the look of a control that is not crucial to its function is a bad design. Having to set specific control styles that should be settable from attributes is also not good.
