    Hello,

    I tried to use a RadMenu in a 2nd Level Tab, but in IE8 the items of the menu are truncated and so not visible for the user.

    Here is my code to reproduce the problem.

    1 <telerik:RadTabStrip ID="RadTabStrip1" runat="server" Skin="Office2007">
    2             <Tabs>
    3                 <telerik:RadTab runat="server" Text="Root RadTab1">
    4                     <Tabs>
    5                         <telerik:RadTab runat="server" Text="Child RadTab 1">
    6                         <TabTemplate>
    7                             <telerik:RadMenu ID="RadMenuTest" runat="server"
    8                                 Skin="Office2007">
    9                                 <CollapseAnimation Duration="200" Type="OutQuint" />
    10                                 <Items>
    11                                     <telerik:RadMenuItem Text="SomeMenuTest">
    12                                         <Items>
    13                                             <telerik:RadMenuItem Text="Test1"  />
    14                                             <telerik:RadMenuItem Text="Test2" />
    15                                             <telerik:RadMenuItem Text="Test3"  />
    16                                             <telerik:RadMenuItem Text="Test4"  />
    17                                         </Items>
    18                                     </telerik:RadMenuItem>
    19                                 </Items>
    20                             </telerik:RadMenu>
    21                         </TabTemplate>
    22                         </telerik:RadTab>
    23                         <telerik:RadTab runat="server" Text="Child RadTab 2">
    24                         </telerik:RadTab>
    25                     </Tabs>
    26                 </telerik:RadTab>
    27                 <telerik:RadTab runat="server" Text="Root RadTab2">
    28                     <Tabs>
    29                         <telerik:RadTab runat="server" Text="Child RadTab 1">
    30                         </telerik:RadTab>
    31                         <telerik:RadTab runat="server" Text="Child RadTab 2">
    32                         </telerik:RadTab>
    33                     </Tabs>
    34                 </telerik:RadTab>
    35                 <telerik:RadTab runat="server" Text="Root RadTab3">
    36                     <Tabs>
    37                         <telerik:RadTab runat="server" Text="Child RadTab 1">
    38                         </telerik:RadTab>
    39                         <telerik:RadTab runat="server" Text="Child RadTab 2">
    40                         </telerik:RadTab>
    41                     </Tabs>
    42                 </telerik:RadTab>
    43             </Tabs>
    44         </telerik:RadTabStrip>

    Any Idea what I could do to solve this? This is the only IE8 issue on my site. I don't like the solution to press my users in IE7 compatiblity mode.

    I am using the first 2009 build of Telerik Controls for ASP.Net , which was released on April 2nd.
    Development environment is Windows Server 2008, IE8, Visual Studio 2008

    Hi Stefan,

    You can easily achieve your goal by using the following CSS style:

    <style type="text/css">
    .RadTabStrip .rtsLevel,
    .RadTabStrip .rtsUL,
    .RadTabStrip .rtsLI
    {
        floatleft !important;
        overflowvisible !important;
    }
    </style>

    Kind regards,
