I have tried this example and it does not seem to work. It just makes every item a root item.
I've also tried it by following this example with the same results.

The version that i'm running is Telerik.Web.UI (v 2008.01.0619.35)

Hello Jason Houser,
The version you are using does not support the requested behavior since it was implemented later. You need at least Q3 2009 in order to benefit from hierarchical databinding to objects.
