I have a hierarchical grid in which once i add a record in details table iam calling needdatasource method. but the detaildatabind event is not getting called. I need this event to get fired after needdatasource is executed. since iam working on "persisting the expansion state of hierarchical grid" which works fin with some dummy rows are getting binded in the details table, this is because the DetailDataBind is not fired. please reply ASAP.

Hi sudheer,
Rebinding the master table will only raise the NeedDataSource for parent table. You can either rebind the whole grid, or a specific detail table. The following article contains more information on how to reference a specific table.
