Hi.

I'm looking to use the scheduler to check the availability of recources over multiple days. There can only be one 24 hour appointment for each resource between a set date span. Currently, the grid can group by resource in timelime view - which is great - but I would like to make sure each resource can only have one entry.

I will explain my situation to try and make myself a bit clearer. We have 20 rooms which can be hired out in 24 hour periods, and there can only be one occupant listed for that room. You can view a picture of what I'm trying to achieve here.

Can you please advise the best way to restrict the row to a single line height (so bookings cannot overlap for that resource) whilst still enabling insert into available slots?

Item Template Databind Issue

Hi,
Im trying to build a combo box that will allow multiple selections. My issue is that when i build the checkboxes i can't get to bind text against each checkbox. it comes up empty. is this the correct way to achieve what i want ?

Content area not available after postback

Hi,

I have an editor inside a panel that I am setting to visible = false on page load and on button click am setting the panel to be visible. It works fine in IE but in Firefox the editor loses it's content input area and is therefore not selectable.

Any ideas?

Synchronized column sizes across grids

I looked through the forum and didn't find anything like what I'm after.

Basically, I want to have two grids with the same columns but representing different data. If the user resizes the columns in one, then I want the other one to have its columns the same width, calculated on the client side.

The documentation doesn't mention anything about manipulating the column widths using a client-side script, so I'm not even sure if this kind of width manipulation is possible. If it's not possible, that's fine. I have other options to consider, but this one is the best for me (assuming there's an easy way to do it).

The basic idea would be to catch the OnColumnResized event of one grid and use that to resize the appropriate column in the second grid. Is it possible to do this? If so, how?

[Solved] 'Telerik' is undefined

I know this has been covered many times, but everything i have tried from the other posts has failed.

I am doing a project that is done in .NET 2.0, it has Q3 RadControls on it bar RadWindow and RadScriptManager which is done in the new RadAjax Controls (Formally prometheus). We had to do it this way as the older RadWindow would not work with what we wanted to do. I am getting the 'Telerik' is undefined javascript error, which i believe is being caused by the script manager. this is what i have in the web.config -

I believe it has everything in it that it needs.

I am not sure if it is because it is using ASP.NET 3.5 RadControls in a .NET 2.0 project.

Any help would be appreciated.

Also i have been unsuccessful in creating a test project to duplicate this error.

[Solved] Viewstate and TriStateCheckboxes

Hello telerik folks,

how do i access the check-status off nodes from a RadTreeView(RTV) with disabled viewstate. I found that in the params-collection there is a serialized array which only gives me the hierarchyindex of a node and not the state, in terms of a tristate checkbox.

I tried to get the nodes by using RTV.Nodes[firstIndex].Nodes[secondIndex].Nodes[thirdIndex] but it seems that some hierarchy-indices do not follow that pattern e.g. there are nodes with values much higher than the nodecount currently available, "0:0:9" but there are only 4 nodes on the third level of node "0:0".

I also need to find out how to find out which nodes are really selected and which are only "selected" because there exist selected subnodes. (Tristate and checkChild are active)

Asynch Postbacks (Callbacks) for every checked node are no option as the user is allowed to batch-de/select nodes (0-1000 nodes).

Website loses formatting when modifying it with RadEditor

Hi,

I deployed RadEditor in our farm and defined a custom .css-file as default style sheet, excluding the HtmlEditorTableFormats.css and HtmlEditorCustomStyles.css (according to the instructions in the article http://www.telerik.com/support/kb/article/b454K-htb-b454T-cgg-b454c-cgg.aspx ).
This worked very well, except one problem:
When I access a website and try to modify it with RadEditor the text in a text field loses its formatting. Funny thing is that this happens only to single paragraphs, not in the whole text field.
The paragraph seems to lose the linking to the .css-class in the style sheet (ApplyClass-dropdown menu shows only "ApplyClass").

I can´t find a solution for this problem. The websites have been created before the installation of RadEditor, maybe there is a connection. The style sheet hasn´t changed though.

I would be very thankful for some help and suggestions.

Problem with action field in the form

Hello.
I have a problem with action field in the form of
radcontrols_aspnetajax/Controls/Examples/Default/DefaultCS.aspx.

When I try to change action to my page (some.php file), it doesn't change anything when loading page in browser! It permanently shows "DefaultCS.aspx", and I need to change this. I want the data passed to searchbox to process with another script. For this I'm changing action but it doesn't change.

Where is the bug?

Hi friends,

    can anyone help me in solving this problem

     displaying 2 different folders Hierarchy in the server

    i am trying to drag some files and folder of radtreeview1 to radtreeview2
    this works on the client side where i am draging but to implement it physically
    where should i write a code (that is to move the files from location of tree1 to tree2)
