Hello, are there any demos/examples of dynamically creating the pop-up edit form for a grid? I found the demo for the pop-up edit form but the EditFormSettings tag is defined in the code front; I need to dynamically create the fields available for the user to edit.
Each record in the grid will have several "static" columns, but can also have other fields that will vary from user to user. I'd like the grid to display just the static columns, and then clicking "Edit" will bring up a pop-up edit form with those static fields AND any dynamic fields available to the user.
If this can't be done with a grid could someone please suggest something that could handle this?

I am completely new to the Rad Editor, so apologies if there is an obvious answer to this question! I am trying to paste from Word and save the result from the Rad Editor into an external file named "test.html". I have got this working fine but the output (when viewed in a browser) has the TAB characters replaced with     ...
Any ideas?

i am using a raddatepicker
<telerik:raddatepicker id="dpDateFrom" width="120px" TabIndex="4" runat="server" calendar-showrowheaders="false"><DateInput></DateInput></telerik:raddatepicker>
when the tabindex is set in ff, when you tab over the calendar image it opens and will not tab out. you have to select a date. this is not the way it behaves in ie.
How can i resolve this?

Hi,
I have a RadMenu that uses skin property.
My problem is, every time the page is refreshed, the page is loaded completely and then (after 2 seconds) rad menu is loaded.
What should i do to make menu more faster?

I have a customer that really likes the old Telerik skin from the RadControls classic (non-prometheus) version of Telerik. The new version appears to use a completely different set of skins and a new format for custom skins. The default skins are now embedded and the default Telerik skin looks completely different from the non-promtheus version.
The Telerik skin from the classic version had rounded corners which we really like. I have access to the skin, but I'm wondering how difficult it is to modify the old Telerik skin to work in the new format? Upon looking at the CSS file it appears difficult? Has anyone already converted this theme?

Hello all. I am trying to find a way, if possible, to capture the checked node's text through javascript when the node is checked. Also I would like to be able to capture the text of the children or parent nodes to the checked node if possible. Is there anyway to get this to function through javascript? Any help would be much appreciated.

I am trying to Select a Row in the grid then Click on a Button in the CommandItemTemplate to run JavaScript to do the following.
Open Rad WIndow to a Page and Passing the Value from the DataKeyNames of the selected row to the new page.
Any insight will be helpfuul.

No way to find size and location of RadInput. I am using: Sys.UI.DomElement.getBounds(RadInputDOMElement),while RadInputDOMElement is sender.get_wrapperElement() or sender.get_element() in any of the client events.
