Hi How can I extraxt week number from telerik rad calendar.If I select a date in the calendar ,then i need to extract the week number for that date from the calendar.Any help is much appreciated

Uploading speed varies when using different browsers

I don't think it is a problem of the RadUpload control, but the OS + browser itself.

I want to upload a file at about 10MB.

1) when uploading via the LAN, using IE7 in Vista, the speed is very good.

2) uploading to the same server, but via the Internet (thus our firewall), using IE7 in Vista, the speed is almost...zero, then timeout.

3) uploading to the same server, via the Internet (again, through the same firewall), using Firefox 3 or Opera in Vista, the speed is about 50Kbps, which is acceptable.

I would like to ask if anyone has the similiar situation. Or if it is my set up problem.

Opening a window from another window.

Hi,
I am a newby on telerik suite.

I have a problem.

In my Dot.net application i want to open a new RadWindow from another RadWindow, when i clik to a button in my first Window.

To do this, I use a RadToolBar control whitin a RadToolBarButton:

Window issues with FireFox 3

We are having a big problem using Window with FireFox. Basically when trying to launch a Window when using FireFox we are getting a JavaScript error. This problem is replicated easily by just creating a new empty project, only putting Window on it, and trying again. Below is the error and the code used.

Any ideas? The JavaScript error does not display on IE, Safari, or Opera (and I think Chrome too).

DeleteCommand event not firing

In my grid I have a GridButton column with a commandname =Delete
I also have ondeletecommand=RadGridName_deleteCommand

When I click the delete button, the row is deleted, but the code in the deletecommand handler never gets executed, so how is the row deleted ? Why is the deletecommand event handler never executed. Heres the grid code

[Solved] RadGrid Select row

I have a problem with a RadGrid. I want another RadGrid to be updated when the the first i clicked and a row is selected. This works fine.... The problem is the row I selected in the first RadGrid is now no more selected!

I want the row selected to be still selected, and the first RadGrid which triggers the Ajax-event should not be updated, but I see from my debugging that the ObjectDataSource connected to that first RadGrid is called even there should be no need of that.

[Solved] Problem: Resize With Window (Width,Height set to 100%)

Hi,

I am trying to use the fullwindow splitter as specified in the example.

During loading of the Fullwindow splitter control layout initially showing in small size and after someseconds it is expanding to the full size of the window.

This problem is even reproduciblein the specified demo page.

Skinid for treenode

Iterating through columns, then items

I need to create a merged cells type functionality (like http://www.telerik.com/community/forums/thread/b311D-ccatm.aspx) - this code checks through items and hard codes a column name. How can I loop through all columns, checking if the previous column's value is equal to the current items? I do not want to hard code column names.

[Solved] Grouping Templated columns

I have a radgrid with a templated column. I've enabled grouping. When I drag a column from the grid into the group header, I get the following error:

Telerik.Web.UI.GridGroupByException: Expression cannot be null or empty

So I followed this thread: http://www.telerik.com/community/forums/thread/b311D-bcmedm.aspx

It says to use a GroupExpression, which I did. It resulted in the grid being grouped on startup (worked as expected). However, when I remove the column from the grouping, and try to re-add it to the group, I get the following error:

Telerik.Web.UI.GridGroupByException: Invalid group by expression: 'Group By' clause missing

The templated column does in fact contain a GroupByExpression="disciplineID" expression. So I am not sure what I am missing here.

Here are my needs:

1. Allow grouping of templated columns.
2. It cannot be grouped on startup of the grid.
3. Must allow the addition and removal of the columns from the grouping at will.

Please let me know what I need to do.
