I do not want the word wrap. I and my boss do not like the white tab added to hold the extra text. I want the text to either end or end with '...'. I haved added tooltip to hold all of the text as well as mouseover and mouseout java events with no problem. How do I turn off the word wrap on the tab strip tab??

radgrid pdf export with image on commanditemTemplate

im having trouble with exporting the image on the radgrid to pdf. my image is in the commanditemTemplate, the exported file shows only a portion of the image. to be exact it is the same width as the first column. but in the radgrid it displays Wholethe image can anybody help me with this. any solutions will do. The image must be on the commanditem or must be on top of the header.

Ajax Loading Panel Content

Hello,

I have a large ListView that I'm using a LoadingPanel to appear over top of it. However, if the user is at the bottom, they do not see the large list; instead, they see the gray... I was wondering if the LoadingPanel has anything built in to show the content in the area of the application the user is currently in, or if this could be manually done at all....

Use variable from the code behind

I am using this variable from the code behind :

public string UserID; //globally declare the UserId
protected void RadGrid1_PreRender(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
MembershipUser myObject = Membership.GetUser();
UserID = myObject.ProviderUserKey.ToString();
}

I am trying to use the variable in the INSERT command in the aspx file but it seems that the following command does not work,any ideas why?

InsertCommand="INSERT INTO table (column1, column2) VALUES (value1, '<%=UserID %>')"

Grid already selected on page load

As the title suggests, when I load my page having logged in and been redirected to the page, there is already a selection made on the first row of data.

This is an issue because the grid works by making a selection, then the user uses the menu to load another page which displays data using a session variable depending on what was selected on the first page.

This means the user is going to think a selection is already made and the session isn't empty when it is. It makes it look like the grid row doesn't need selecting first.

How can I stop it from auto selecting the first row?

ASP.NET MVC + RadGrid with all the bells and whistles

Question: Where should the skins directory and radgrid.js files be placed and referenced in an ASP.NET application so that radgrid can be fully operational and easily deployed?

I've used radgrid in classic webform apps no problem ... but I'm not sure what the guidance is here for setting it (or any of the other controls) up in the asp.net mvc environment.

How to avoid page refreshing

hi,

i am using treeview and grid on my page . they are in two separate radpanes splitted by splitter.

when i click on the node, the grid has to be rebind based on the selected node.

but in my page whole page is refreshed.

i want to refresh the grid alone, how can i avoid the page refreshing.

Do NOT Like The New Forum

Hey telerik people - I really prefer the old forum layout. It was MUCH easier to navigate. I mean, the treeview made it so easy to switch to view the forum posts from one control to another. WHY DID YOU CHANGE THIS???

Strange Tabstrip behaviour on webserver

we have implemented your Radtabstrip for displaying rss feeds from several sources.The Radcontrol(tabstrip) works fine on localhost but looses control once run from the webserver.The active tabs dont show properly when clicked.even though the content displayed is from the active tab.the control could be viewed at http://hak.sss-sxr.com/RssTabView.aspx
please advise if the fault lies within the control or our implementation.
