Hello, I have an odd issue with the radgrid I'm currently working with. This Radgrid has a Mastertableview and a DetailTableview, with both having paging elements. Whenever I use the Rebind function of the radgrid, the paging of the Mastertableview is kept the same; however, the paging of the open detailtableviews for some reason always resets to page 1.

Does anyone have any idea why this happens, and if so, is there any kind of fix for this issue?

Hi ,

i'm using "Grid / Self-referencing Hierarchy "  grid in my screen same as show in the below link

http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/grid/examples/hierarchy/selfreferencing/defaultcs.aspx

i don't want to show the ID in my screen. if i'm removing the ID it is not showing hierarachy result, but it displays individual records which are not in hierarchical(drill down) order. please let me know the solution.

Hi,

I like the way you can drag multiple column headings onto the grouping control to set up the hierarchy of grouping. Can you do the same thing with multiple column sorting? The option of clicking on columns titles to do multiple column sorting is not very intuitive. And you can't tell visually which order the columns are sorted in.

Hai,

I have a dataset having fields in the following way :

Flight_Id    Flight_Name   Sector_Id      Sector_Name
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
1                    A                        100                a
2                    B                        200                b
3                    C                        300                c

I want a treeview with Flight_Name as parent nodes and corresponding sector_Name as its child nodes.

Can anybody give some sample code to bind the treeview like this?

Thanks & regards,
Regeesh Joseph

There doesn't seem to be a selectable item to change the background colour of the sorted column either for the rows or the header cells.

Got to StyleBuilder and create a new skin. I based mine on WebBlue. Don't bother colourizing it. Go straight to fine-turn. Select "Grid" as the control to colour.

The "Grid Wrapper" item will be selected. Note the background colour (#ffffff).

Click on each of the following items in order and notice the background colour in each case:
  • CommandItem (#495a70)
  • CommandItem Cell (#495a70)
  • Grid Wrapper (#ffffff)
  • CommandItem Cell (#ffffff)

How can the CommandItem cell have 2 different background colours?
