Dear there,

Somehow i have to bind the radgrid with using dataset and dataview like

Dim objDV as new dataview = nothing
Dim ds as new dataset

'after calling a function ds got somedata according to paramerters

if ds.table(0).rows.count > 0 then
objDV = ds.tables(0).defaultview

RadGrid1.DataSource = objDv

else
RadGrid1.DataSource = objDv > objdv IS NOTHING
End if

On pageload, my store procedure get all the default parameter value and grid is binding perfectly, now i am changing the param values and in the dataset i m not getting any tables and records, in this case my objdv is set = nothing but grid is carrying the same old data, not rereshing or clearing the data

where there are no records and i bind the grid like
radgrid.mastertableview.rebind

that disappears the grid

RadComboBox dropdown not sticking to the page

Hello,

I have a page with lots of RadComboBox drop downs and other controls. For the most part, everything works great. Except when I click on a comboBox drop down and it opens, and then scroll up or down, the combo box showing data stays fixed while the rest of page moves up or down.
Not sure if you have seen this problem before but I could not find any reference to any similar item.

I have included a sample aspx code implementing the controls:

p.s Actually I absorved the same behavior right her on this panel! if you input a text and do a spell check on it and then right clicking on the yellow high lighted text brings a drop down box. while the drop down is active and visible, try scrolling using the mouse or the bar.

Using TreeVew combo box as a navigate menu.

I'd like to use TreeVew combo box as a navigate menu.

Example)
- ClassA
   GroupA-1
   GroupA-2
- ClassB
   GroupB-1
+ ClassC
+ ClassD

The followings can be realized?

1) When 'ClassA' is clicked, the page http://shibuya.ac.jp/mycampus.aspx?g=classA is displayed with 'Class A' is selected in combo box.
    Then next, 'GroupA-2' is clicked, the page http://shibuya.ac.jp/mycampus.aspx?g=groupA-2 is displayed with 'Group A-2' is selected in combo box.
    Selected item is NOT POST back to the same URL. New page is requested (GET).

2) Tree state (+ or -) will be kept when the page is changed from  http://shibuya.ac.jp/mycampus.aspx?g=classA to  http://shibuya.ac.jp/mycampus.aspx?g=groupA-2.

Rad Controls in Sitefinity

We got our ASP.NET RadControls by purchasing Sitefinity. Is their a way we can download the latest Q3 version of the ASP.NET AJAX Controls? We don't have access to the Carousel or CoverFlow RadRotator RotatorTypes currently.

Add new row

Hello,
We're working with ASP.NET AJAX Q3 2009 NET35. We want to be able to allow to the user intert a new record from a radgrid object.

We don't know what settings are necessary change to show the row, or button or icon to insert a new record.

On the other hand, we can see the options "delete" and "edit" but they don't work, they do nothing.

Sorry, but our level in ASP.NET AJAX Q3 2009 NET35 is basic.

Edit opens wrong item in Grid View

We are utilizing the GridView in management tool for user feedback. We are encountering issues when one of our users clicks the "edit" button on the GridView after the underlying data has changed (a user submitted a new feedback). When this occurs the wrong item editor will open and our users will at time mistakenly edit the wrong item as a result. How can we prevent this from occurring? We have set the DataKeyNames value to the primary key of our data sources, I would assume this would have been sufficient to prevent this problem.

Grid Postback only on master table rows

Hello,

I have a master/detail table. I want to enable postback on row click, but only for master table rows. How can I make that happen? I saw articles on using __doPostBack('<%= rg1.ClientID');, but I want it to fire the ItemCommand event. Is there a way to wire that up to make it work on client row click? Add a RowClick$<index> parameter, or something?

Or is there another setting?

How can i load the TreeList with all itens expanded? Also, can i expand itens client side only like in this demo with radgrid with group expressions ?

[Solved] No ASP.NET AJAX Extensions 1.0 detected on the system. Please, change your target framework to .NET 3.5 or newer.

Shortly after our Q3 2010 release, we noticed an issue that has slipped under our radar.

When attempting to upgrade a project targeting .NET 2.0 or creating a new one, you might see the following message:
No ASP.NET AJAX Extensions 1.0 detected on the system. Please, change your target framework to .NET 3.5 or newer.

This message can be misleading if Visual Studio 2005 is not present on your system. The issue has already been addressed and the fix will be available with our next official release.

In the meantime, registering the ASP.NET AJAX Extensions 1.0 in your Add New Reference dialog will enable the use of all of the project configuration wizards with projects targeting .NET 2.0.

Update: In order to avoid the issue, please, update using the latest version of RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX. A fix for the issue has been made available in our 2010 Q3 SP1 release.

[Solved] Server Side Selected Tab

Hi

I did check forums but couldn't find right solution 

I am trying to change the color of the Selected Tab.I know i can go and change it in Css file .

However my scenario is i have 5 tabs 

and each  navigate to different page when i click on tab i am not using NavigateURL instead i am using RadTabStrip Click 

The Issue is it doesn't tell me which tab i clicked and RadTabStrip is in web usercontrol and i have autopostback=true

so please do let me know ho i can tell which one is the selected tab
