Radmenu styling - first and last menu item

Hi.

I have implemented a RadMenu system and noticed that the first and last menu item does not have any of the styling like the other menu items in between from this CSS:

Tab in RadEditor not working

Tabs in Rad Editor is not working - it just not focus the next control when it doesn't have anything in content area.
It works fine when there is content in the content area of RadEditor. Pressing tab moves the focus to the next control and works fine.
When there is no content, pressing tab just starts adding following row to the 'DescriptionWrapper' table everytime.

RadGrid Filter Column

Hi,
I have set AllowFilteringByColumn="True" in RadGrid for that Column but some column filter working good and some not working.Not working column contain linkbutton in GridTemplateColumn or string DataType value assigned Datafield in GridBoundColumn.

How to resolve this scenario.

RadTextBox Setting width programmatically

Hi guys,

I have just upgraded my telerik controls and discovered that all radinputs ( radtextbox, datepicker etc..) width have gone awry. Everything is now set to 100% width even though it was specified in the inline code to be of a certain pixel.

e.g.

<telerik:RadTextBox ID="tbxSomething" runat="server" Skin="Default" width="250px"></telerik:RadTextBox>

When i go thru my firebug, it shows the default style as:

even though the parent span is taking the specifed width into consideration but it's still rendering the control as 100% width due to the above css style.

I can't actually override html body .riSingle .riTextBox[type="text"] style as it seems that every other "textbox like" input is using that same style..including datepickers.

Is there way where I can be able to set the width of specific textboxes without the use of CSS as these controls are generated dynamically from xml --> xslt --> aspx and I would like the users to be able to define the width of textboxes based on the type of input.

Please advise?

How to change forecolor of checkbox when checkboxes were decorated by RadFormDecorator?

Hello,

I can't change forecolor of checkbox label.
I tried to set ForeColor of checkbox, I tried to overwrite color in checkbox inline style, I tried overwrite .radCheckboxChecked.
May be I'm overwriting wrong class. Please help.
Skin for my checkboxes is "Sitefinity" which was defined in RadFormDecorator.

How to NOT show editform

Hi, I have a radGrid with the "Add New" button on top, what I want to do, is to not show the Edit Form when I click on this button, I just want to catch this event with OnItemCommand and do some things there, without showing the EditForm on the RadGrid

RadToolTipManager not working on RadGrid

Hi ,

Thanks in Advance for any Suggestion.

In my code I am Using RadToolTipManager to display tooltip on grid. I am having a column which will show tooltip. On Initial Page load I am getting the tooltip correctly for the respective rows. but after applying filter on that particular column, the tool tip is getting the same reference as on page load and showing the tooltip that I have able to see on page load. In OnItemdatabound I am adding the tooltipManager to the filtered row , still its taking the reference of Initial page load.

Please suggest ......

ajaxify controls inside a repeater

Hi,

A very simple page with a repeater control. each row in the repeater has a button, clicking the button will change the button text to current time. But get js error when click the button after ajaxified the button. the error says "Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'id' of undefined". the full set of code is attached below. can anyone help to have a look? Is there a way to quickly pop-up a window for cells with large contents?

Let's say I have a column in my grid, "Comments." This is usually a very large string, let's say hundreds of characters. Obviously this doesn't look very good in the grid.

It would be nice to only show the first few characters, and when the user clicks on the cell, a dialog or window would quickly pop up next to the cell, with the contents of the clicked Comments cell displayed inside.

Is there any kind of built-in functionality for this already? If not, is there a solution for this anybody has come up with?

Any help would be appreciated - thank you.

PanelBar scrolling issue

hi telerik,

I want to build a PanelBar with only one vertical scrollbar across the entire bar whenever the total size of content exceeds the height limit. So I just set the ChildGroupHeight property of the root panel item and it works fine. But when clicking one child item which also contains child items, the vertical scrollbar disappears after the child item is expanded. I'm just wondering is this a bug or corrected behavior by design? if it's by design, how can i build this except using FullExpandedItem ExpandMode approach?
