We are migrating on RadControls ASP.NET AJAX Q2 2008.

Now when we went to the page contains dynamically added RadScheduler, we get an error "This is an invalid webresource request."

I've read some articles related to common, non-Ajax, RadControls and tried to set Enable embedded skins false, but it led to no effect.

Yesterday, on RadControls ASP.NET AJAX Q1 2008 build 1.619 every thing have been working pretty fine.

Now, on pages which don't contain radScheduler everuthing seems to be working fine, too (but I've had no time for thoroughly testing yet)

[Solved] Removing plot values on a rad chart

i have populated a rad chart with 4 series and when this is viewed it shows the plot points

i want to be able to remove these values so that they can instead be put into the tooltip - is this possible?

Failed to create designer

Hi

I built source code RadControls_for_ASP.NET_AJAX_2008_1_619_Source. I got the dlls Telerik.Web.UI.dll(2008.1.619.0) and Telerik.Charting.dll(2.0.2.0). When i tried to use these dlls i got the following errors:

"Failed to create designer 'System.Windows.Forms.Design.ComponentDocumentDesigner, System.Design, version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral,Publickey token = b03f5f7f11d50a3a"

"Duplicate component name 'RadPanelBar1'. Component names must be unique and case-insensitive"

I don't know the reason why the error arises. Pls help me.

Show Loading panel on RadToolBar Button click

Hi All,

I am using radControl asp.net ajax Q1 2008 control

I am using RadtoolBar and radGrid
Radtool bar contain 2 button as refresh and export.

Query

1>I want to show the loading panel on grid
when i click on refresh of radtoolbar.
How can it will be achived?.

RadFormDecorator added from codebehind

Hi guys, I am trying to add a RadFormDecorator to my page dynamically but it is not working as expected, the styles are being applied but it seems that the client side part is not being loaded/applied, this is what i am doing in the page load event:

    
            var _formDecorator = new RadFormDecorator(); 
        
            _formDecorator.EnableEmbeddedSkins = true; 
        
            _formDecorator.Skin = "Vista"; 
        
            _formDecorator.DecoratedControls = FormDecoratorDecoratedControls.CheckBoxes | FormDecoratorDecoratedControls.RadioButtons; 
        
            _formDecorator.ID = "MyFormDecorator"; 
        
            this.Controls.Add(_formDecorator);

If I add a control to the designer everything looks fine.

Suggestion: Ship debug version

Hi!

I sometimes need to debug the Telerik-code, to see what I am doing wrong. At the moment, the process of switching from the Release build (downloaded) to the Debug build (built on my machine from the source) is rather awkward.
I need to manually change all the version/public key tokens in config-files, aspx-files, etc, as well as making sure I have the debug version in the GAC.

It would really help if Telerik could ship the debug versions, signed with the same key. This way, all we would have to do to would be to change the dll in the GAC the debug version.

Or has anyone else come up with a good solution for this? I've tried assembly redirect, but that only works if the DLL is signed with the same key.

RadCalendar Wrapper Style

Hi there,

I'm having trouble with RadCalendar, I can't style my calendar input because the div created by the RadDatePicker tag apply "display: inline" to the container div (the wrapper) and I really can't figure out why the hell a server control should write inline style code into the tags! So the only way I can change that style is modifying it via javascript, but I can't, as my page has to be styled even on those device without JS.

Is there a way to force the component not apply that inline style??

[Solved] RadScheduler Resource Grouping

Hi,

I've downloaded RadScheduler and trying to see the resource grouping.
The demo says to change the property "SelectedView" and set it to "ResourceView", I don't see that option in the property, I have only Dayview,WeekView,MonthView and TimeLine.

Do you have sample project where in this Resource grouping is shown?

I would appreciate your reply.

Web browser Refresh Button

Im using the asp net ajax controls , a trial version ,so when i use the RAD Scripmanager ,ajax panel and the RAD Grid with Paging it work fine....but when i push the web browser refresh button it stop do the postback,stop do the ajax thing,so my question, is the failure because of the trial version or is a bug ????
