'asp:PlaceHolder' is of type'System.Web.UI.WebControls.PlaceHolder'.$0$0I understand that radpanelitemcollection iswaiting for radpanelitem items, but we are inside a ListView LayoutTemplate.$0$0Is there any way to avoid this??$0$0Or any other suggestion to do what I want?$0$0Help would be greatly aprecciated! $0

radcombo problem with mozilla

i have a radcombo box, 2 cases:

problem1: when i fix a height of radcombo box in radcontrol stylesheet (radcomboinput), and see radcombo in different browsers , then in IE7 it looks good, but in mozilla and safari radcombo box input goes bigger and image attached with that looks smaller. first problem is that.it design looks not good

problem2:
when i give not height in radcontrol stylesheeet(radcomboinput), then radcombo input looks good in IE and safari ,(same size with the imgae )...but in mozilla radcombo input box goes smaller than image attached with that.

any solution ...with browser compatiable ...

RadChart Wizard changes not sticking

Hi support,

I've tried making changes to a chart using the Radchart wizard like setting Legend position from 'Top' to 'Top Right' or setting the series label visible to false. It reflects my changes in design mode but will always go back to the original when run. I did a save and reopen the page after closing. Everything went back to the original and the changes I made didn't stick.
I've noticed the changes I made are not reflected in the source either. Changing the source directly does not seem to help either. The chart seems to ignore my changes in the source I made. I am on Version 2008.1.619

Can you please me what else needs to be done.

Drag and drop grid row to a textbox?

Is there any way to drag a row from a radgrid and drop it on a textbox? I would like to set the text of the textbox to the contents of the row from the grid. I seem to only see ways of dragging and dropping from grid <--> grid or grid <--> treeview, but nothing that deals with textboxes.$0$0$0$0I'm sure it could be possible with a lot of javascript, and if so, does anyone have some examples of how to get the data being dropped on the textbox? I tried the javascript event on the radtextbox "OnMouseOver" but I am not sure how to get the contents of the eventArgs... as I keep getting [object Object] back no matter what I try. Is there a special method within the eventArgs? I can't seem to find any good documentation that lists the possible hidden/built in methods for the javascript events.$0$0$0$0$0Thanks$0

[Solved] FIX: 'Telerik' is undefined or Object Expected error after installing .NET 3.5 SP1

Hi guys,

Due to a validation introduced in the RadScriptManager's base class in ASP.NET 3.5 SP1, the UpdatePanel did not output the <script> tag with the combined scripts when the following conditions are met:

A ScriptReference is added/inserted to the Scripts collection of RadScriptManager;

An IScriptControl control is initially loaded as a result of an Ajax call;

The bug caused either the '"Telerik" is undefined', or 'Object expected' client-side errors.

If you encounter these problems after upgrading RadControls for ASP.NET Ajax to Q2 2008 SP1 (Telerik.Web.UI v2008.2.836) and after installing ASP.NET 3.5 SP1, please download the attached fixed package.

Please, open a formal support ticket to obtain the Dev build if you are entitled for one.

Custom Links Indenting

The custom links dropdown doesn't indent properly with child nodes. This behavior is seen in the demo: http://demos.telerik.com/ASPNET/Prometheus/Editor/Examples/SaveInExternalFile/DefaultCS.aspx

In the demo its not terribly confusing, but when a sitemap is pulled in with a complex menu it is very confusing as all child nodes (level 2 or level 3 or etc) appear as level 1 when they are opened.

The documentation shows a screen shot of nicely indented 3 level deep tree of custom links - see here: http://www.telerik.com/help/aspnet-ajax/customlinks.html

But I can't get mine to look like the screenshot on the documentation.

hyperlink not working

Hi..
I am RAD editor for my sharepoint application in mozilla.The hyperlink icon is not working.It does not convert the text into link.

Closing a radWindow not Working

I have a page that opens and aspx page in a radWindow using the following code:

On the aspx page, opened in the window there is a close button that performs the following client code:

The problem is that instead of the window closing it is completely reloading itself!

Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.

row drag in Grid

Hi I am using radGrid rows drag and drop feature. It works perfectly, however I was just wondering about the visibility of drop sign. I mean when I select a row and drag it up there is a very thin line telling when to drop the row.

Is there any way that can be changed to something bigger?

I mean just like the drag and drop for docks, when you move some dock the destination space is created for that. I hope you get my point?

Line breaks in Grid control

Hi,

Can a Grid control display line breaks in text? Or do I need to parse the text myself and put HTML breaks in it? Our customers can enter text with line breaks and its shown like that everywhere else but the grid doesn't seem to care about any line breaks. Just asking here before I start writing unneccesary code.
