Hi everyone,
The MS Outlook Calendar (day view) contains functionality where if the duration of an appointment is less than the minutes per row a little hook or protusion appears at the top left of the appointment.
Has this functionality been implemented within the rad scheduler? I've been asked to implement it as part of my scheduler's functionality, and don't know if it is possible.
Many Thanks
Mark

Hello Mark,
Plamen Zdravkov

This functionality is not implemented by default in RadScheduler. I have prepared a sample project where a similar functionality is achieved. You can also refer to the Customizing the Appointment demo where is used the same technique.
Hope this will be helpful.

Thanks for your reply Plamen. I can see from your example that there are a few little tricks that might help. I think I might need to implement an appointment template and display an icon instead.
It would be good if Telerik could implement this functionality to help keep the control consistant with the calendar control within MS outlook. Ultimately the people who define requirements base them on what they know and are familiar with - in this case Outlook.
Thanks for your help.
regards
Mark

Hello Mark,
the Telerik team
Thank you for your question.
With RadScheduler this functionality is usually handled by adding the ExactTimeRendering support.
Kind regards,

Hi Plamen,
My requirement is to display items on the scheduler control which aren't necessariliy appointments. So potentially I have many items within the same time row. The ExactTime Rendering support seems to 'hide' appointment items behind other appointment items and had to be discounted.
Thanks
