Hi,

We are currently using Dundas (which we hate) for charting. I'm seriously considering migrating our project to Telerik charts since we already use Telerik for other stuff and was wondering if any new chart types / features were coming up that would help me justify the switch?

Hi Al,

Currently no new features or chart types for .NET ASP are planned for our next release. Right now our main focus is concentrated on RadChart for WPF and Silverlight. With Q1 2009 release we will officially include RadChart for Silverlight. At that time we will only provide 2D charts. However, a 3D engine is being currently developed so that we will start working on adding 3D charts right after Q1. We will officially include the 3 Dimensional charts in the following Q2 release. You can take a look at our online demos for WPF charts to get a better idea for the upcoming chart types and features for Silverlight.
Besides that we'll include several new features for WPF and Silverlight:

    - Series Item Tooltips for 2D and 3D charts (3D only for WPF)
    - New series type Range
    - Option to disable the axis AutoScale functionality and manually customize the axis range and step
    - Animation enhancements

Also, can you share with us which are the features, functionalities you are currently missing or looking for to make the final decision to move to our RadChart?
