Adding Cells to Calendar Row

I am building a time tracking app for a client and one of their requests is to show a calendar (where I can use Day_Render to show individual items on a per-day basis with the month view) and they would like to add a column to the right of each row (next to Saturday) where it shows weekly totals. Is this possible to do?

As far as I know the functionality with an extra column in RadCalendar is not supported by RadCalendar.one suggestion is to use a separate control beside the calendar which outputs the totals and stays aligned with the weeks.

Any suggestions/tips on how to accomplish that? I wouldn't even know where to begin unfortunately.
