How do I get a postback after an Alt+AccessKey keyboard shortcut? The toolbar button becomes highlighted, but no postback is performed. If I press Enter after the button is highlighted, a postback is performed. I need this shortcut key to call OnClientButtonClicking, as I'm performing form validation within that method.

Hi,
Thank you for your question. Currently, RadToolbar fires no client event when selecting a button with an access key. We will however allow this in the near future. Either the OnClientButtonClicking event will fire or there will be another event, for example OnClientButtonSelected, which will be used instead.
Thanks again for bringing this issue to our attention.

I hope this is coming in the next update. Of what value is keyboard support if one can't attach client events? This breaks form validation as well as a myriad of other issues.

Hello Stephen,
We will provide this functinality as soon as we can. However, I doubt that we could manage to implement it for the upcoming service pack 1 on May 15.
Please, excuse us for the cause inconvenience.
