That's it, any ideas? I think it's tied to a registry problem maybe, this seems to be the case with other installers that give this message. Tried reboot, clearing temp folder, re-downloading installer, and searching regex for telerik all to no avail.
Thanks

I have visual studio 2005 pro and 2008 pro installed. Running XP pro through vmware, and installing this file RadControls_for_ASP.NET_AJAX_2009_2_826_trial.msi. We have installed a couple of these around the office onto the same image with no problems.

Another note, I pulled the download off of a shared drive. It was block for being from a different computer. I removed this block and tried to rerun, but to no avail
Also, looked in c:/program files/ and no telerik folder. Did a registry search for telerik and nothing there either.
Tried downloading the installer from the website and running that, no luck.

Well, I'm back to square one here... I managed to get this installed in october... tried running the installer like 40 times and it finally worked once when I had VS open during installation.
In an effort to switch to the new version I uninstalled telerik controls via "add remove programs" then tried to run the 1208 2009 release, am now getting the same message again. I have tried using different variations of the installed components and the location of the install to no avail.

Hi Ty,
From the provided log I can tell the installation failed during the deployment of our documentation. You should try running another installation without the documentation feature and deploying the documentation manually.
You can disable the documentation feature by running the installation and selecting Custom on the Choose Setup Type step of the installation and then disabling the Documentation feature.
To deploy our documentation manually you would need to download our Manual Installation Zip and run the appropriate .bat file from its Documentation folder.
