Hi,
When using filtering to display items from radgrid- user inputs filter criteria and select Filter - Contains - no status or IE loading is shown for list filtering. Customer currently has 1958 history items and when using filter they have to wait 1+ minutes before page is refreshed.
So, how do I notify the user thru some hour glass or some IE loading to indicate that grid is currently being filtered. since when filtering takes palace on large no. of items, it's extremely slow.
So,pls help with code samples to let me know how to show some status thru hour glass or thru IE loading to indicate filtering is going on.

Hello Ayesha,
You can display a RadAjaxLoadingPanel while grid is being filtered. Check out the following document on how to show or hide the loading panel explicitly:
