Hi ,
I noticed that in 2014.2.618.45 version the rrbButtonGroup's width is set to auto and rrbGroupTitle has a inline style, in some cases where the Ribbon Group Title text is longer than the Ribbon Button Group's width, the title text is altered (attached screenshot).
But in your previous version, both the classes had same inline width and hence the Ribbon Group Title was not cropped.
Please suggest!!
Thanks
P

Hello, Alok.
The problem is related to how we calculate the width of the groups -- it's relative to the items, not the group title.
We are almost at the release point of 2014 Q3, so I doubt we'll be able to fix / improve this on such short notice. Never the less, I will see what can be done.

Hi Ivan,
Thanks for the reply.
But it would be nice if you could provide a work around. Also I noted, in the previous release the width of the group and the group title was same and hence the title would fit in the group and did not get cropped.
Thanks

Hi Ivan,
Thanks for the reply, but this work around has moved the Ribbon Group Title on the top of the Ribbon Button Group (attached image). Please suggest.
Thanks

Did you include the JS snippet on the bottom of the page? It shifts the title from the top to the bottom of the group.

Hello,
I have the same issue. I'm currently using the latest Q3 2014 build. Will this be finally fixed in Q1 2015?
Thanks!

Hi.
Like I noted in my first reply, the width of the groups corresponds to the number of items, not the title.
Thus a "fix" in the terms size the group differently will be at the least, breaking to more people. I could offer you an ad-hoc solution that will work in the context of your project.
