Visual Studio 2012

Visual Studio 2012 RTM is already a fact! We waited for it in great anticipation, just like you probably did. If you were with us in the recent years, you may have noticed that we always strive to ride the wave of the latest technologies, providing to you top-notch solutions on which you can rely for your applications.

With the release of Visual Studio 2012 the situation is no different. I am proud to announce the full compatibility between the official version of Visual Studio 2012 and the RadControls for WinForms suite from day one. Toolbox, design-time support, form and project templates – you will be able to find all that in our latest official version Q2 2012 SP1, which you can download from your Telerik account. As we wanted to make your experience with RadControls for WinForms and VS 2012 even better, we adhered to the new Visual Studio UX guidelines and you can see the results in the screenshots below:

Windows 8

We have been preparing ourselves for the official release for a year now. I guess you are aware of the two Metro themes that we already have – Telerik Metro and Telerik Metro Blue. Furthermore, the suite supports the touch gestures provided by the Windows Touch API, so your end-users are enabled to play with RadControls for WinForms on Windows8 touch devices using nothing but their fingers! On top of all that, the Toolbox reveals the RadPanorama control which pretty much resembles the UI and touch capabilities of the Windows8 Metro UI.
