Kendo UI 2024 Q2 Release Webinar - Kendo UI for Angular, jQuery, Vue and KendoReact Hide this title

Progress® 2024 Q2 release focuses on enabling design and development teams to rapidly build and design modern, innovative and inclusive digital experiences. Development teams will be empowered to bring AI prompts to application interfaces, while many design system enhancements will help them work with design to deliver highly customized UI. And with accessibility improvements in Charts, data visualization becomes more inclusive. Additionally, teams can satisfy complex requirements with a variety of new UI components such as the market-first Blazor Spreadsheet component, React Server components, integrations with Next.js, plus enhanced query building and embedded-reporting experience.

Watch the Kendo UI 2024 Q2 release webinar to learn how Progress developer tools can empower you and your team to deliver exceptional customer and employee digital experiences. During the webinar, our developer advocates Ed Charbeneau and Sam Basu show in detail the major updates across the .NET web, desktop, mobile and cross-platform products and demonstrate how to use them to drive digital success.

  • New Kendo UI for Angular components: Rating and Timeline controls accompany the AI Prompt added to the expansive Kendo UI for Angular library.
  • KendoReact Server Components: KendoReact embraces React Server Components. The DataGrid is the first experimental KendoReact Server Component you can play around with.
  • New data visualization controls and improvements: Sankey Diagram, Polynomial, Exponential, Power and Logarithmic Trendline types, legend customization support, etc. help to create tailored and stunning web visualizations.
  • Desktop to web migration: New PropertyGrid control is added to Kendo UI for jQuery libraries. Alongside the recently released DockManager, it helps you recreate experiences your desktop users expect.
  • KendoReact integration with Next.js: KendoReact UI components are fully compatible with Next.js and are tested and adapted to operate efficiently with server-side rendering and the Next.js framework.
  • Compatibility with Angular 18: Kendo UI for Angular is fully compatible with the latest features and innovations of Angular version 18.
  • Using KendoReact in your Vite project: Leverage the Vite build tool to bootstrap a KendoReact project supporting both JSX and Typescript.

Welcoming Everyone to MAUI | Webinar

Welcome to MAUI! Not, not the island - .NET MAUI - the next generation of cross-platform .NET development stack. A truly single code base powers apps to reach mobile/desktop natively, with a tighter inner loop & smarter app architecture. With .NET 6/7, MAUI promotes code reuse across platforms & enables modernization strategies.

Older desktop technologies like WinForms/WPF get a breath of new life. Blazor isn’t just for modern server/client web apps, but now powers native apps with .NET MAUI. Web components and styles can be easily shared between web & native apps. JavaScript SPA apps are welcome too – JS & .NET can freely talk to each other. Polished web UI is reusable on mobile/desktop apps from a true shared codebase & with full platform API access. Welcome to the island mindset with MAUI – let’s mix & match technology stacks and move apps forward.

Dive into MAUI basics, JS interop and so much more with developer advocates Sam Basu & Alyssa Nicoll.
